Actiontec HWU05470-01

The Actiontec HWU05470-01 is a wireless 802.11g USB network adapter. It adds wireless networking capability to any computer in range of a wireless network. Due to wireless-g backwards compatibility, this adapter can be used to connect to 802.11b networks as well.

This adapter does not support the latest WPA2 encryption standard, but it does support WPA and WEP encryption. To install and configure the device, Actiontec provides their Configuration 1-2-3 software included on a CD. The device is essentially legacy hardware. This software is only compatible with Windows.
