Buffalo Technology Nfiniti WLI-UC-GN

$40.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Plug and play with Windows, simple to setup with no extra driver discs or software utilities necessary. Compact, space saving design, does not get in the way of other USB ports. Good throughput performance for the price and compared to larger adapters.

The Cons:Does not include Vista 64-bit drivers on the CD, a major hassle for users. Have to search for drivers from the OEM website (Ralink), not Buffalo, adds to the confusion. Does not include extension cable for added flexibility.

The Buffalo Technology Nfiniti WLI-UC-GN is an ultra-compact 802.11/b/g/n-compliant wireless USB adapter. It is in fact Buffalo’s smallest and most compact wireless device. Like its immediate predecessors (the WLI-UC-G300N and WLI-UC-G300HP), it delivers faster wireless data rates and more coverage than legacy 802.11 devices.

The WLI-UC-GN’s centerpiece technology, however, is its AirStation One-Touch Secure System (AOSS). This turns connectivity with any AOSS-compliant router or access point into a simple & easy process involving the push of one button.
