The D-Link DWL-G730AP is a Wireless Pocket Router/AP that can be used either as an Access Point, a Router, or a Wireless Client. It includes an Access Point (AP) mode to create a wireless connection, a Router mode to share an Internet connection, and a Wireless Client mode to connecting to an already existing wireless network.

No matter the mode, the DWL-G730AP delivers 802.11g wireless connectivity with a maximum wireless signal rate of up to 54Mbps. And in regards to security, the DWL-G730AP supports WPA-PSK encryption, along with 802.1x user authentication via an external RADIUS server. Additional features of the D-Link DWL-G730AP wireless router include VPN pass-through, Network Address Translation (NAT), and MAC filtering.
