The Kyocera KR2 Mobile EVDO is a mobile broadband router built on the success of Kyocera’s groundbreaking KR1 Mobile Router. It can act as a conventional router (via cable/DSL), or create a mobile Wi-Fi spot using 802.11b/g/n wireless technology.

This allows users to hook up various terminal devices wirelessly to the Mobile EVDO. Most notable about the Mobile EVDO is its advanced fail-over capabilities, which can bounce back between wireless and wired if one service temporarily goes down. Additionally, the KR2 Mobile EVDO supports VPN-L2TP, enhanced network encryption, and Wi-Fi Protected Setup Mode for secure connections to and from a terminal. The Kyocera KR2 Mobile EVDO retails for $174.99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
