Connection to the router from a PC or Mac can be handled through a wired connection to one of the 4 Gigabit switch ports, or through the high-speed Wireless Access Point. 802.11b/g/n WiFi protocols are used to cover a range of compatible wireless devices at high speeds. MIMO technology is used to extend the range of wireless access 4 time farther and reduce dead spots. The network transfer rate is up to 300 Megabits per second, and will work over PPTP, L2TP, IPSec and PPPoE protocols.
