Netgear DGN2000

$100.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Stable wireless connections that are reliable over long periods of time. Routinely runs very hot even with just moderate use. Can support wireless devices at a far distance and through floors.

The Cons:Firmware updates are difficult to successfully apply in anything other than Firefox. Newer users will have difficulty figuring out how to set up routing functions - not very user friendly. Help section on the right side of the setup screen is for the wrong model.

The Netgear DGN2000 is an 802.11b/g/n router that is fully compatible with all major DSL Internet service providers. It’s essentially a router and modem in one convenient, compact package. Plus, it utilizes the superior Wireless-N protocol for improved wireless speeds, allowing users to play online games and stream HD video content simultaneously without unwanted lag.
