Product Shot 1The Netgear EVG2000 is a Gigabit Ethernet, high-speed router released through Telstra Velocity in late 2009 as part of their installation kit. It combines Gigabit LAN with Gigabit WAN, a router, and an 802.11n access point, allowing full bi-directional throughput exceeding 300Mbps.

Users can stream HD video, download large files, videoconference, and distribute and play HD digital movies, photos, and MP3s at extremely fast speeds. It plugs directly into Ethernet, a VDSL2 modem, DOCSIS modem, or a Fiber ONT, after which wireless transmissions can be made to PCs, Mobile Phones, AND DECT handsets. Included also is support for UPnP, VPN pass-through, and a double firewall using Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI).
