Netgear RangeMax 150 (WNR1000)

$60.00 Released March, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Included installation CD makes setup a breeze for those unfamiliar with routers (and running Windows Vista or XP 32-bit). Reasonably priced for an N-150 router. Impressive range even amongst wireless-n routers (~200 ft).

The Cons:Often refuses to hand out DHCP addresses, requiring fixed IP addresses for every device. The setup wizard doesn't work with Linux, Mac, 64-bit Windows or Windows 7 computers. Automatic firmware updating doesn't work at all.
