Developers have access to an extensive user guide for programming their own router features, along with support from Netgear’s myopenrouter.com community. The Netgear WGR614L runs on a Broadcom 5354 running at 240 MHz with 4 MB flash and 16 MB of RAM. This router includes two antennas, one internal and one external. Netgear’s WGR614 is rated for wireless connections up to 54 Mbps, and has four additional Ethernet 10/100 LAN ports on the back. Users looking for a wireless-G router that is compatible with a variety of open source firmwares should find the Netgear WGR614 more than acceptable.
