TP-Link TL-WR741ND
$40.00
Released September, 2009
The Pros:Affordable price. Offers better speeds than 802.11G for 802.11N compatible devices. Compact size.
The Cons:Half the speed of a true 802.11N router. 10/100mbit wired connections. No USB port for NAS or print server functionality.
The TP-Link TL-WR741ND is an affordable 802.11n Lite wireless router that offers improved speed over 802.11g wireless, but not full 802.11n performance. It’s relatively small and hosts just one antenna, which limits its throughput to only 150Mb/s — which is in fact 150Mb/s less than a conventional Draft N router.

Additional features include combined WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security, Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), NAT, DHCP, a built-in firewall, VPN passthrough, and parental controls.
