The TEW-654TR is backwards compatible with both b and g wireless standards for those with legacy devices. Two internal antennas broadcast on the 2.4GHz spectrum using Multiple In Multiple Out (MIMO) technology to increase overall wireless coverage and speed. A single Gigabit Ethernet port is found on the back of the router, allowing for uplink to an internet connection or another network. All of the major wireless encryption protocols are supported, including WPA2. Advanced routing technologies such as QoS are also supported, meaning users can prioritize gaming, internet calls and video streams to their preference. The TRENDnet TEW-654TR comes with an AC power adapter, or can be powered over its included USB cable.
